The result is the Fulton Armory/Troy Industries Modular Combat Rifle (MCR). Clint McKee, owner of Fulton Armory, is a very though minded individual whose standards for his products are incredibly high and uncompromising. When we made our proposal, Clint stated that he would reserve judgment until he saw Troy's MCS. Clint refuses to use anything but original GI or MILSPEC components in Fulton Armory M14s, M1 Garands, or M1 Carbines and while Fulton Armory rifles cost more than others, theirs are as close as possible to an original military rifle, so when we shipped the Troy MCS to Clint, we were a little apprehensive and weren't prepared for his overwhelmingly positive reaction. Rifle Sling

Rick has developed this "primary weapon shield" concept for the Immediate Action Drill of the TRAS in conjunction with the TTT/Mission First Tactical Retention/Recovery Lanyard (TRRL) which is attached to the operator's handgun. Rick designed the TRAS and the TRRL to work together. These two products evolved into the "Close Quarter Battle/Attached Weapons Tactics" Training.

TRAS CHARACTERISTICS

Non-metal construction for quiet operation in the field and for no static electricity or magnetic signature
Ambidextrous sling body
Capable of secondary weapon carry, litter carry, or heavy equipment carry
Universal modular system designed to attach to multiple weapons, i. e. can be removed from a rifle and attached to a shotgun, to a submachine gun, or to a non-lethal weapons system
Unique CQB pull tab to extend into a 3-point muzzle down carry
Operator safety, break away capability, i. e. weapon can be released from the sling in less then 2 seconds if the weapon becomes detrimental to the operator's safety
Long-term continuous wear of the sling on the operator, i.e., can be safely worn without the weapon for long periods of time; not detrimental to operator performance
Proprietary Sling: Only sling designed to interface with Tactical Retention Recovery Lanyard (TRRL) with 12 sling positions for Close Quarter Battle (CQB) and Attached Weapon Tactics (AWT) with one sling setting.

The operator adjusts the sling to his/her body size. Then the operator adjusts the 3-point slide release buckle on the sling to position the muzzle of his/her weapon down. Now the operator is able to go into any of the next 12 TRAS Sling Positions without readjusting the sling. The exception is re-locking of the CQB tab for the CQB positions again.

Best advice since you are stuck in the suck, see if the services has any plumbing supplies somewhere to fix the water faucets (best bet in finding the Small O rings), and once installed, Dump about 6 mags back to back with the MG's upper well lubed in CLP (got to be a sand dune somewhere that needs some killing). This will allow the chamber to self-polish out threw live fire. Once completed, get the CLP/fouling out of the rifle, since the CLP is just going to be a sand/dust magnet. P.S. If you can, dump the LMT barrel and get your hands on a Colt or FN barrel instead. The chambers are looser in the sidewall dimensions on these barrel, and when shit gets adverse, a nice tight chamber that shoot really tight groups is going to be your demise after the rifle jams up on repeated mag dumps when running the weapon un-lubed for the present conditions. Bullpup

The most striking feature of the MUZZELITE bullpup stock, when attached to your action, is the overall length of 26-1/2". This allows you to carry the rifle with much greater mobility. Whether your sport is hunting or plinking, the MUZZELITE bullpup stock will convert a long rifle into a compact weapon system in just a matter of minutes!

The stock itself has fixed sights which are adjustable for windage and elevation. The windage is done with the rear sight and the elevation is done with the front sight. The stock also comes equipped with a scope mount which attaches in the handle.

Construction is of fiberglass reinforced plastic. Required Allen wrench is included.

Fits flat-top equipped weapons with carbine length gas systems. The #50 is a slim line S.I.R. featuring a bi-level top dovetail rail. The forward rail section is lowered to allow co-witnessing of heads up display type optics when used in conjunction with our #40 series rear sights and a standard height AR-15 front sight post. This civilian version requires no modification to the weapon.
